Many factors are involved with this decision such as increased traffic levels, aircraft noise and just an increase in home noise, such as teen age kids and television and music noise levels.

Respondents noted that they would be most likely to spend extra money, sound control bedrooms, between floors and the family room and isolating noisy appliances and machinery.
